Bipolar Disorder

People in a manic episode may display:

  • Become more active than usual (can include financial, physical, or sexual)

  • Engage in risky behaviors

  • Appear agitated or "full of energy"

People in a depressive episode may display:

  • Eat too much or too little

  • Loss of motivation

  • Loss of energy

  • Feel very sad, empty, or hopeless

  • Sleep too much or not at all

  • Can't seem to enjoy anything

Depression

  • Feeling very sad, hopeless or worried?
